Refunds and cancellation
Cancel whenever you like. You keep Red Vote until the end of the year you paid for.

Cancelling
Any owner of a district can cancel from Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. You do not need to email us or give a reason.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not switch Red Vote off: your district keeps working normally until the end of the year you have already paid for. After that date the district can no longer create new meetings.
Refunds
Within 30 days of your first payment, we will refund it in full, for any reason. Email vote@taverns.red and say you would like a refund.
After 30 days, the year is not refundable — but you keep the service for the whole year, so nothing is lost by cancelling early.
If we have charged you twice, charged you after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, that is our mistake and we refund it in full whenever you notice. There is no time limit on fixing an error.
How the money comes back
Payments are handled by Paddle, who are the merchant of record for Red Vote. Refunds are issued by Paddle and go back to the card or account you paid with, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
We never see or store your card details, so we cannot take a payment you have not authorised through Paddle’s checkout.
What you keep
Your certified meeting records, exports and audit bundles are yours. Download anything you need before your district closes — see the privacy notice for how long we keep data afterwards.
Renewals
Red Vote renews once a year at US$199 plus tax. Paddle emails you before each renewal. Cancel any time before that date and you will not be charged again.
